Raider Shield - 35.4 x 17.7 in
Taking its half-moon outline from the crescent-shaped shields used by Peltasts in Ancient Greece, the Raider Shield from Epic Armoury was designed with ruinous raiders and warmongers in mind. Sculpted and hand-painted, one face shows a hammered metal finish while the other stays smooth and dark. Rusty effects add wear, and triangular rivets along the edges suggest the shield has been patched together and reinforced with scavenged materials. Two rings pierced through the top corner add character and make this shield easy to pick out from the rest.
It suits a goblin raider or brutal high-fantasy orc just as well as a pillaging bandit or a dark knight.
Built from durable closed cell foam coated in latex, it's ready for LARP battle. A tri-position grip with adjustable buckle straps on the inner side keeps your hold secure as you fight through your foes.
