Knight Shield
Modeled on the heater shields carried in 15th-century jousting, this large shield from Epic Armoury wears a hand-painted green, white, and gold stripe pattern echoing classic heraldry, with a metal-look rim studded in brass. It's a straightforward design, but one that never goes out of style.
Three canvas straps on the reverse, anchored through hard EVA foam, hold it steady on the left arm for a dependable grip, and with routine latex care the shield shrugs off the wear and tear of regular LARP combat.
- Face colors: Ivory White and Leprechaun Green
- Size M measures 31.5 in long by 20.5 in wide
History
- The notch cut into the upper left corner, known as a bouche, once cradled a jouster's lance and opened up the knight's line of sight
