Crusader Shield 35.4x23.6 in
Epic Armoury takes the Crusader Shield's silhouette, a semi-curved kite shape, straight from Norman infantry of the 10th through 12th centuries. A whitewashed, wood-effect paint job carries a black cross down the middle, giving any crusader or other religious foot soldier at your LARP an instantly recognizable look.
Underneath the latex skin sits hard EVA foam, and three full-grain leather straps on the reverse let you sling the shield on either arm for a grip that holds up under repeated blows. Keep the latex conditioned and it will keep pace with years of events.

History
