Ranger Knife With Core
Epic Armoury's Ranger Knife with a Core carries a pragmatic, imposing look. At 12.6 in overall with a 6.7 in blade, it's best suited as a backup weapon, with a pointed tip for penetrating skin and a sharp, single-sided edge look. Its simple, authentic design fits most settings, making it a great secondary weapon for a Warrior, Marksman, or survivalist-type character like a Ranger. Built from durable closed cell PU foam with high tear strength, delivering the safety and appeal you want in your LARP kit.
Construction! Core or Coreless?
The Ranger Knife is available in two constructions: one with a flat fiberglass core, and one without (coreless). Cored versions carry a gold-colored cross guard, while coreless versions use a steel-colored cross guard, so you can tell at a glance which is which. The flat fiberglass core adds rigidity along the vertical angle while allowing more flexibility along the horizontal, giving a feeling of extra control compared to a coreless build - some players simply associate that stiffer feel with higher quality. The core isn't designed to block blows from other LARP weapons; it's purely about that stiffer feel. We offer both versions because some LARP campaigns have specific rules around weapon construction, so you can pick whichever matches your game.
