Caprine Sword
Epic Armoury's 39.4 in Caprine Sword is a hybrid LARP longsword built with the mountainous ranger archetype in mind. Its 26 in latex blade carries a deep fuller and scalloped ricasso, hand-painted to mimic real steel, with a brass ram-head hilt and a pommel sculpted into the shape of a cloven hoof.
Underneath, the blade is soft EVA foam wrapped around a 0.4 in solid fiberglass core for durability and safety, then finished in latex for a smooth surface that resists shredding. The 13.4 in handle is cast in polyurethane for crisp detail, with a 5.5 in grip wrapped in full grain leather.

- Often called a "broadsword," though that's technically an incorrect term
- Inspired by the two-handed longsword of the late medieval and Renaissance eras
