Scout Sword - 29.5 in
The Scout Sword from Stronghold, Epic Armoury's foam weapon line, draws on Nordic weaponry for a medium sword measuring 29.5 in overall with a 22.8 in double-edged blade carrying a central ridge. The handle is richly detailed, with a curved crossguard and a "cocked-hat" pommel similar to those found on uncovered Viking swords, both hand-painted to look like faded iron and bronze. The 3.9 in grip is cast and painted to resemble woven leather, ergonomically shaped to sit comfortably in the hand.
Stronghold weapons are foam weapons built for tough LARP combat. Unlike latex weapons, they need no maintenance and feature detailed polyurethane handles.
