Ratio Gauntlets
Epic Armoury's Ratio Gauntlets are steel gloves built for maximum combat protection without sacrificing maneuverability, covering everything from knuckles to forearm. A rigid, sculpted knuckle plate protects each hand, while a short vambrace connects via thick leather to guard the wrist and forearm. Overlapping steel plates on a leather foundation cover the back of the hand and thumb. Slide your fingers through the leather loop around the hand to put them on, then tighten the heavy leather straps — one around the wrist, two around the forearm — to lock them in place.
The Ratio Gauntlets pair with other Epic Armoury metal armor for easy costume customization. Built from 0.04 in thick galvanized mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, they're designed to hold up to LARP or reenactment use with regular leather and metal care.

Inspiration
In the ConQuest universe, this is the uniform gauntlet of the Ratio, an NPC faction said to hail from the "Mirror World." Beyond the lore, gauntlets in general have existed for millennia, peaking in popularity during the early renaissance as an essential piece of a soldier's or knight's kit.
