Squire Greaves
Epic Armoury's Squire Greaves are sturdy leg guards built to protect the shins during combat. Four thick full grain leather plates are fitted together with tough leather cords, giving these greaves solid structural strength that resists deformation and holds up over the long haul.
Adjust the leather cord lacing to your desired tightness to secure these greaves to your leg. The timeless, moderate style mixes freely with other Epic Armoury leather and metal armor, so you can build out your costume however you like.
- Available in Ox Brown and Epic Black colors, sizes S, M and L
History
Greaves that only shield the front of the lower leg are sometimes called schynbalds instead. The word greave itself traces back to the Old French greve, meaning "shin" or "shin armor."
