Chainmail - Long Sleeved - Riveted
This long-sleeved mail shirt from Epic Armoury is built from interlinked steel rings, each ring riveted shut and connected to four neighbors in a classic 4-in-1 weave. Coverage runs from the shoulders down to the waist, with sleeves extending all the way to the wrists for full arm protection. The riveting at every link means this mail can absorb far more stress than a simple butted weave, though that extra durability comes with a trade-off: at 5.9 lb, it's a noticeably heavy piece.
Pull it on over your head like a shirt, then cinch it in place with a belt worn over your gambeson. The rings themselves are 0.06 in gun-blued steel, treated to resist rust, so with routine leather and metal upkeep this shirt is designed to hold up through repeated LARP events and reenactments.
- Available in Epic Dark and Steel Gray colors
