Handcuffs
Epic Armoury's Handcuffs lock a pair of wrists together in classic style. Each solid cuff is darkened mild steel, joined by a sturdy metal chain that hooks onto a belt, with a metal crossbar securing each cuff shut.
A simple lock fitted to each crossbar lets you slide it up or down the cuff to release or trap the wearer's hands -- a perfect prop or detail for any guard costume.
History
- The term handcuffs is derived from the Anglo-Saxon word, handcop (that which catches the hands)
- Reference to handcuffs have appeared as early as 4th century B.C.
