Landsknecht Cuirass
More than protection, the Landsknecht Cuirass is presence. Inspired by the flamboyant mercenaries of the 16th-century Holy Roman Empire, this Epic Armoury torso armor channels the commanding, lavish bravado that made the Landsknechts famous across Europe, equal parts soldier and spectacle.
The sculpted breastplate and backplate follow the body's natural form, deflecting strikes while allowing a full range of motion. Segmented, fully articulated faulds and tassets are included, hanging in overlapping layers that add both mobility and a fluid, graceful movement to every step.
Whether you're marching under imperial colors, leading a free company, or playing a high-ranking officer in a fantasy setting, this cuirass blends historical design with theatrical presence, a bold, unmistakable centerpiece for characters of rank or ambition.
Made from 0.04 in steel, it's built for live-action roleplay, reenactment, and stage combat, secured with sturdy adjustable leather straps for a flexible fit over a gambeson or padded garment. The modular design pairs with matching spaulders, arm guards, or greaves for a complete suit or a mix-and-match build.
