Mountable Dragonhead
Give your armour a guardian. This dragon's head is cast in polyurethane foam and bolts onto a pauldron, bracer or breastplate to turn plain plate or leather into a piece people will remember. The beast bursts out of a round, domed base with its jaws wide and teeth bared, a pair of short horns crowning its skull and a ridged frill spreading out behind.
Fitting takes a single hole, one bolt and one nut, and the bolt and nut come in the box. Epic Armoury's Marauder Armour already has the mounting holes in place (shared with the Mountable Horns), so on that set it fits with no preparation at all. On other armour, drill a hole through metal or punch one through leather. Tighten the nut firmly with a socket wrench rather than by hand, as a loosely fitted mount can work itself free over the course of an event weekend.
