Laced Quiver
An archer's quiver should hold arrows steady and stay out of the way, and this one does both. It is cut from full grain, vegetable tanned leather and shaped as a cone that narrows towards the bottom, so LARP arrows stand upright and are easy to reach. Two braided lace lines run down the front as decoration, and the main seam at the back is laced closed.
A single shoulder strap is attached at the top and at the bottom of the quiver, and a second, belt-length strap goes around the body to keep everything stable. Used together, they hold the quiver flat on the back; the same straps can also be rearranged to carry it at the hip, using the leather loops for a belt. No separate harness is required.
Because the leather is vegetable tanned, it will darken and develop character as it is used, and it responds well to regular leather care.
