Imperial Sword
Part of Epic Armoury's Stronghold Master Collection, the Imperial Sword is built for presence, a blade equally at home in the hands of a battlefield commander or a knight standing tall in a royal hall. Balanced and unmistakable at a glance, it carries the weight of authority alongside late-medieval styling.
Its design draws on grounded historical longswords blended with clean, low-fantasy lines. A long, fullered blade flows into a strong hexagonal base, and the longer version adds a sculpted ricasso for improved leverage and grip, giving fighters practical control for switching between cuts and thrusts.
The hilt gives the sword its name: a spiral crossguard twists away from the blade into a matching spiral pommel, cast as a single piece for both durability and fine detail. A leather-wrapped, oval grip adds secure, comfortable handling and good maneuverability for directional cuts.
Like every Stronghold Master, the Imperial Sword is built for full-contact LARP. A latex-free, injection-molded EVA foam blade wraps an oval fiberglass core reinforced with a tube tip, making it lighter and better balanced than earlier Stronghold designs, reducing fatigue over long battles or all-day events.
It comes in two lengths, 40.2 in and 47.2 in, and two finishes: classic Steel Gray or a bolder, ornate Gold for commanders and champions who want their blade to stand out.
