Heater Shield
Bold, simple, and battle-ready, Epic Armoury's Heater Shield takes its shape from the classic heater shields of the High Middle Ages. It's a clean, LARP-friendly design that suits everyone from noble knights to borderland mercenaries.
Under the paint, it shares its sturdy build with the Baron's Shield - the same foamed and carved core and layered construction - but skips the heraldic chevron for an unadorned, powerful look. Pick from three bold color splits: red and dark green, yellow and black, or white and red, each hand-painted with a subtle texture that mimics brushed linen or coarse canvas for a well-worn feel straight out of the box.
A rugged leather cross-strap handle system lets you wear the shield on either arm, so left-handed fighters, dominant-weapon builds, or anyone who likes to switch sides mid-game can all use it comfortably.
The curved body is sculpted from rugged EVA foam and hand-painted to resemble weathered wood, then reinforced with stitched-on leather edging for durability and a touch of historical accuracy. It's light enough for fast-paced combat but dense enough to read as real medieval armor, and the curve gives solid wrap-around coverage when bracing or fighting in formation.
