Footman Shield
The Footman Shield from Epic Armoury takes its kite-shaped silhouette from ancient Greek design, finished with a hand-painted wooden-look body and a decorative metal rim built to catch the eye on any battlefield.
It's worn left-handed, secured by two versatile canvas arm straps on the back. Constructed from hard EVA foam with a latex finish, it's made to take the punishment of ongoing LARP combat provided you keep up with regular latex maintenance.
History
- Iron rim was sometimes used as a way to reinforce the shield. It offered protection to most of the warrior's body.
