RFB Kite Shield
Inspired by the semi-curved kite shields of 10th-12th century Normans, the RFB Kite Shield from Epic Armoury measures 23.6 in long and arrives carved with a rim detailed to look like studded metal. The design is simple, but timeless, and it's offered in a wide range of colors to suit any character.
Among those color options is an Unpainted version, letting you customize the finish yourself - just use a paint made for EVA foam, and coat the shield in clear latex once the paint has dried.
Two leather arm straps on the back let you wear this Kite Shield left- or right-handed. Built from hard EVA foam, it's made to withstand repeated LARP combat as long as you keep up with regular latex maintenance.
